Abstract: Philosophy of Law and Postmodern Regulatory Challenges: the Case of So-called Artificial Intelligence. The Problem of Deepfake as a Legal Puzzle
The article explores the role of legal philosophy and jurists in the new landscape of technological society, offering in particular some reflections on the regulatory challenges arising from so-called artificial intelligence. The focus is on the automatic image, video, and audio processing algorithms that produce deepfake content, which pose a genuine regulatory puzzle due to their complex implications and powerful impact on established principles and fundamental rights.
