Abstract: Climate Change, the Anthropocene and their Narratives: quid iuris?
This essay explores the intrinsically political nature of the climate crisis, challenging the idea that it can be only addressed as a technical or sectoral emergency. After reflecting on the relationship between environmental and climate law, and on the role of jurists in this context, the contribution investigates the power of narratives in building a “collective ecological consciousness” by analyzing, in particular, the novel The Ministry for the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson.
