Abstract: The Fight Against Climate Change Tested by the Classic Categories of Criminal Law
The climate change is one of the main global challenges both at European and international level. The paper is aimed to reflect on the need for a more pervasive intervention of criminal law in the climate protection. In particular, the work analyses the possibility to apply environmental crimes and the new crime of ecocide to the climate and the compatibility of this choose with the fundamental dogmas of criminal law. In conclusion, the paper tries to outline a possible reform in this field.
