Climate change gets out of control. International politics is deadlocked. The discussion on climate obligations of States and enterprises is captivated by undetermined evergreens. Hence, key players don’t know their obligations. A concrete discussion is vital. Crushing liability for climate losses should be avoided. Strategies should be explored to compensate (the most) vulnerable victims, preferably outside the realm of the law.
