Abstract

The theme of democracy is treated by Michele Carducci under the perspective of justice. According to Carducci the modern Constitutions provide for the instruments to indentify and to put right wrongs. Consequently the ground of democracy is not justice as what is right, but justice as the complex of the rules that tell us how to be right, how to remove wrongs.
These theme is developed by Carducci with a comparative view over the modern constitutional systems.
