Rashōmon. La verità contesa
17-34
Abstract: Rashōmon. The Disputed Truth
Through three films, the essay attempts to reflect on the complexity of the judicial events that accompany the painful human events of violence and oppression. Violence against women confronts the interpreter, who has to deal with those events, with a rationality of the opposite places: guarantee the right of defence of those who intend to defend themselves against those accusations; on the other hand, to avoid a painful phenomenon known as secondary victimization. The process, the judicial duel, intersects these two needs, entrusted to the wisdom and balance of
those who are called upon to decide.
