Abstract: Legally Significant Hair. A Conceptual Map.

The aim of this study is to analyse the significance of hair, hairstyles and the practices of shaving and cutting them from a legal perspective. The legally relevant historical cases offer here a theoretical and philosophical mapping of legal institutions involving hair. Through this topic a new light can be shed on the legal statute of the subjectivity.
