Abstract: Laughter of the Thracian Woman.

The laughter of the Thracian woman, of that ignorant and nameless servant who laughs at Thales (emblem of the philosopher, mathematician, astronomer and, in general, of knowledge), still offers an important mental nourishment. It helps us reflecting on the continuum of knowledge – on the delicate relationship between science, philosophy and law – and it turns out to be very important for reconsidering the bond between male and female.
