L’uomo “untore” e il distanziamento sociale: distopia o cura?

Abstract: The Smearing Man and Social Distancing: Dystopia or Care?
The state of health emergency caused by the Sars-Cov-2 virus has raised unprecedented ethical and legal questions. In the dystopia of a pandemic world, in order to slow down the spread of the virus, governments have suspended a large part of fundamental rights. This paper questions the “biopolitical” outcomes of social distancing prescriptions, which have identified a sort of new relational ethos. Faced with the new state of nature of homo homini unctor, however, not all the “care” [Fürsorge] strategies adopted by institutions seem authentic and illegitimately risk transforming the recipient into “dependent and dominated”.
