Abstract: The Corruption of Public Space in the Post Era
Nowadays, urban landscape seems to be increasingly corrupted by the overflowing advance of non-places, such as, for example, shopping centres or resorts. These huge “hubs of nonsense” betray the relational and political mission of public spaces, in some sense, they opening the doors to any subsequent corrupt phenomenon. The present essay aims at analysing the relation between non places and corruption, pointing out the link which ties together urban spaces and citizenship issue.
